So you own some property and it’s sitting vacant. Perhaps you use it as a vacation home, investment property, or any number of things. The question is, why let something sit around and eat up money when it could be MAKING you money? Why not rent that empty home or condo out? I was trying to find a list of places where I could list my property for rent and was very unsatisfied with the results, so I diced to make this list for all to use.
Below you will find a list of places that I was able to find that will allow you to list your property to rent out as a vacation rental, corporate housing, insurance housing, or just a normal 12month type lease.
LIST YOUR HOME OR CONDO FOR RENT FOR FREE BELOW
- ShortTermHousing.com | List Your Property - Allows you to list your property for free. Caters to mostly vacation rentals, temporary rentals, corporate rentals, and upscale type renters.
- Air BnB – List Your Place – Air BnB is similar to the one above except it caters to more middle to low-end renters. More of a college kid type feel to it. If you have a less than amazing home that you don’t mind gets a little wear and tear then Air BnB is for you.
- List On Apartment – Free Listing – Not a very pretty site, their listing pages aren’t very pretty either. They also have fairly low traffic to their site but it is free, so if you have time it’s worth a shot, ya never know.
- Craigslist – Definitely the biggest place to list, but the listings are only temporary. Depending on how big your city is your listing could be pushed all the way back to page 2 in less than a few hours. Also, if you live in a huge city like L.A. or N.Y. they charge you money each time you list.
- Housing Helpers – Not much to say, just a general rental listing site.
