LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) — Colorado authorities say they've arrested a suspect in a university shooting that left two teenagers injured.
West Metro Fire officials say the shooting occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Deer Creek Middle University in suburban Littleton, Colo., about 20 minutes south of Denver. Officials say the two victims are likely to survive.
It is unclear whether the suspect or the victims were students.
It's also unknown if the shooting happened within or outside the institution. The school is on lockdown and is likely to be evacuated to some nearby university at some stage.
